Bill Rogers

CEO

On November 7, 2010, the Board of Directors of SunTrust Banks, Inc. elected William H. Rogers, Jr. to the offices of President and Chief Operating Officer. Previously, Mr. Rogers, 52, held the office of President. Rogers, who has served as President since 2008 was elected to the additional role of Chief Operating Officer during a regular meeting of the Company?s Board of Directors. On June 1st, Mr. Rogers will assume the role of CEO.

Mr. Rogers also is responsible for SunTrust's Geographic Banking organization; Consumer Banking, including Mortgage; Diversified Commercial Banking; Commercial Real Estate Banking; Corporate & Investment Banking; Wealth & Investment Management; Corporate Marketing; and Corporate Communications. Prior to being named President in December 2008, he served as Corporate Executive Vice President with executive oversight responsibilities for Commercial Real Estate Banking, Corporate & Investment Banking, Mortgage, Treasury & Payments Solutions and Wealth & Investment Management.

Mr. Rogers began his career in 1980 in the commercial bank training program of Trust Company of Georgia, a SunTrust predecessor. Throughout his career with SunTrust, he has held increasingly senior positions in corporate and commercial banking, corporate finance, retail banking and mortgage. Mr. Rogers earned an MBA from Georgia State University and a bachelor of science in business administration from the University of North Carolina. He is on the board of directors and executive committee of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta, and serves as a trustee emeritus of The Lovett School and on the board, audit committee and compensation committee of Books-a-Million, Inc.

Tel Aviv Stock Exchange

 
In June 2006, Mrs. Ester Levanon was appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange. Since her appointment, Mrs. Levanon aims and strives to expose the TASE internationally, as part of the process of turning the TASE into a global exchange. During that period of time, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange has been promoted to developed market status by FTSE and MSCI.

Mrs. Levanon joined the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange in 1986; she held the position of Executive Vice President - CIO & Head of Operations (formerly: Senior V.P, V.P). Mrs. Levanon is responsible for turning the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange into a fully automated Exchange, upgrading it to one of the most advanced Stock Exchanges as well as one of the very few that offers a fully automated trading in securities, bonds, T-bills and derivatives alongside fully automated - paperless clearing and settlement.

Between the years 1973 and 1985 Mrs. Levanon established and managed the Computer Division of the Israeli Security Service. Mrs. Levanon holds a M.Sc. in Mathematics from the Hebrew University, Jerusalem. In 1998, she attended the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School, U.S.A.

Jerry Zucker was the chairman, president, and CEO and founder of The InterTech Group, Inc.; listed by Forbes (in the 2003 listing) as the thirty-eighth largest private company in the United States and by the South Carolina 100, as South Carolinaís second largest privately held company. Mr. Zucker was also the Governor and CEO of Hudsonís Bay Company. Over the past 35 years Mr. Zucker served in R&D, engineering, marketing, and operations management positions at various levels. He had over 350 invention disclosures that resulted in numerous patents and commercially successful processes and products worldwide. Mr. Zucker was Chairman Emeritus of the South Carolina Aquarium, Chair of the Jewish Studies Advisory Board of the College of Charleston, President of the Coastal Carolina Council - Boy Scouts of America, South Carolina Chair for the Anti Defamation League - Southeast Region, Co-Chair Charleston Regional Development Alliance, and was a member of the American Chemical Society, AMA, Beta Gamma Sigma Honorary Society and TAPPI, and served on the boards of MUSC Foundation for Research Development, Hotline of Charleston (now 211 for United Way), American-Israel Chamber of Commerce, Hebrew Orphan Society, South Carolina Aquarium, Boy Scouts of America, Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce, Regional CEO Council, Lowcountry Graduate Center, and Palmetto Partners for Science and Technology, among others.

At the time of Mr. Zuckerís passing (April 12, 2008), The InterTech Group, Inc. and its affiliates primarily consisted of manufacturers of a wide variety of polymer and elastomer based products ranging from microporous membranes, to molded goods, to high temperature and cryogenic insulation products with operations in North America, Latin America, South America, Europe and the Far East. The InterTech Group also had retail, financial services, and real estate operations and related holdings throughout North America. The Hudsonís Bay Company, established in 1670, is Canadaís largest Department store retailer and oldest corporation. Hudsonís Bay Company provides Canadians with the widest selection of goods and services available through numerous retail channels including more than 580 stores led by The Bay, Zellers, Home Outfitters and Designer Depot chains. Hudsonís Bay Company employs nearly 70,000 associates and has operations in every province in Canada.
